The KAESER 6.3566.0 air oil separator acts as a filter for the mix of air and oil getting out of the air end. This part plays an important role in the air quality, the energy performance of the compressor and the reliability of the equipment.
A standard rotary screw air oil separator assembly should retain most of the oil inside the lubrication system and entrained in the compressed air for a maximum of 2-3 ppm.
The top-hat style air oil separators are installed inside a separator tanks with a gasket and a grounding wire. They normally need to be changed anywhere between 4000 hr and 8000 hr depending on the parts.
