Air Oil Separator Element KELTEC KV350022

The KELTEC KV350022 is a key component of your lubricated rotary screw air compressor. The oil is injected with the intake air to seal the compressors screws with the chamber, lubricate bearings and remove heat of compression from the machine, after the air and oil mix is compressed by the screw a separator will filter the mix to reinject the oil into the compression chamber and send the air downstream.
The element is designated with a maximum velocity rating, line pressure can affect the velocity of the air inside the separator tank therefore it is really important to select the right part of your air compressor and your application. A high quality separator element will be size with some safety factor in order to function properly at pressure slightly under-rated capacity.
