The ATLAS-COPCO 1202-8343 is a spin-on separator that look a lot like and oil filter that you will find in some smaller lubricated compressor and it's a critical component of the lubrification system.
Lubricated air compressor require quality separator to perform as per manufacturer specification, only the best material and craftmanship can make separator element that will ensure full capability of your air compressor and protect your air treatment system.
Spin-on separator are normally mounted upside-down to reduce the amount of oil lost at replacement. They normally need to be change anywhere between 2000hrs and 4000hrs depending on the manufacturer recommandation.
