The COMPAIR 982628054 separator element is located inside the air oil separator tank and separate the compressed air from the residual oil coming out of the compression bloc.
A standard rotary screw air oil separator assembly should retain most of the oil inside the lubrication system and entrained in the compressed air for a maximum of 2-3 ppm.
