The KAESER 6.2008.0-XP is a maintenance part that you will find in lubricated compressor it is called an air oil separator element and it's a critical component of the lubrication system.
A standard rotary screw air oil separator assembly should retain most of the oil inside the lubrication system and entrained in the compressed air a maximum of 2-3 ppm.
Top hat style air oil separators are installed inside a separator tanks with a gasket and a grounding wire. They normally need to be changed anywhere between 4000 hr and 8000 hr depending on the parts.
