The DONALDSON P525629 separator element is located inside the air oil separator tank and separate the compressed air from the residual oil coming out of the compression bloc.
A standard rotary screw air oil separator assembly should retain most of the oil inside the lubrification system and entrained in the compressed air a maximum of 2-3 ppm.
Air/oil separator element have a significant impact on the overall performance of a compressed air system. Excessive oil carry-over will result in higher compressor maintenance cost, higher energy consumption due to high differential pressure in dowstream filtration and higher non-quality product cost.
